Packing List

Our trips are dynamic. This list is broad spectrum, not comprehensive, consider the trip you booked. You are more than welcome to "fill in the gaps" as you see fit. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have after reviewing this list.

Required Essentials

  • Valid Identification / Driver’s License

  • Cellphone

  • Closed toe shoes or boots suitable for uneven terrain and all-day wear (water resistant or waterproof is ideal)

  • Refillable water bottle or hydration pack (something sturdy)

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers strongly encouraged, consider trip season and duration)

    • Base layer (moisture-wicking)

    • Mid layer (fleece or insulated jacket)

    • Outer layer (Sun/wind/rain shell)

  • Any personal medication/interventions you may need (bring enough for the duration of the trip)

Recommended Gear

  • Small backpack or gear bag

  • Hat and sunglasses

  • 2 pairs of socks per day (don’t get caught being stuck in wet/muddy socks)

  • Headlamp or flashlight (with extra batteries)

  • Sleeping bag rated to current season temps

  • Camp pillow or substitute

  • Personal hygiene kit (toothbrush, wipes, towel, soaps, etc.)

  • Sunscreen and chapstick

  • Bug spray or insect repellent

  • Personal snacks (major meals are provided, think easy, quick bites)

  • Protective gloves for trail activity

  • Camera (if not your phone)

  • Compact camp chair or stool

  • Alternate beverage container (i.e. Camp Mug)

  • Comfortable camp shoes (Optional)

Vehicle Requirements

  • AWD or 4WD

  • Spare vehicle key to keep with SO Crew

  • Full-size spare tire (No “Donuts”)

  • Full Fluids check (fuel, oils, washer, etc.)

  • All-terrain, hybrid, or mud tires

  • Specialized tire lug adapter (if not standard)

Reminder:
All rigs will be visually inspected at every trip start to confirm trail readiness. If you're unsure about a particular item or mod, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll help dial you in before departure.
